FuturPiaggio book is a Celebration of Design in both subject and execution of the author JEFFREY SCHNAPP, published by Rizzoli. Modeled after Fortunato Depero’s iconic book published in 1927 and Italo Calvino’s tales, it will be sold in a Limited numbered Edition of 3000 pcs, bound by two real metal bolts. Like the Futurist tome that inspired it, FuturPiaggio book pays homage to the Machine Age which at the time, marked a new era in speed, technology and transportation. This graphically rich retrospective describes key moments throughout our Piaggio history and the various models that have been introduced over our 130 years, including our seductively stylish and cult-classic Vespa. A visual feast for the senses, this volume includes a wide variety of papers, colors, typefaces and type settings, which contribute to actively engage the reader and also highly appeal to design and two-wheels-culture enthusiasts.
